UNDERSTANDING THE THREE (3) PROGRESSIVE REST IN GOD AS REVEALED BY GOD IS ESSENTIAL FOR A DISCIPLE OF JESUS CHRIST.

ALL THE REST IN GOD REQUIRES US TO DO THE SPIRITUAL WORKS OF GOD AS WE STRIVE TO ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

WE FIRST MUST ENTER INTO THE SEVENTH DAY SABBATH REST FROM THE BONDAGE OF THIS WORLD WHEN WE CALLED OUT BY GOD THE FATHER.
WE THEN WILL ENTER INTO THE STATE OF REST FOR OUR SOULS BY FAITH IN JEUS CHRIST.

THE SABBATH REST: THIS IS A HOLY DAY OF PHYSICAL REST IN TIME AND DEMONSTRATES WORSHIP IN OBEDIENCE TO GOD AND HAS A SPIRITUAL BLESSING CONTRARY TO THE WAYS OF THE WORLD. DURING THIS TIME OF REST WE MUST WORK THE SPIRITUAL WORKS OF GOD.
THE REST FOR OUR SOULS: THIS IS THE STATE OF REST FOR OUR SOULS – SPIRITUAL REST FROM THE ENEMIES OF OUR SOULS. SATAN; THE WORLD AND OUR FLESH AS WE FOLLOW AFTER CHRIST. THIS REST REQUIRES THAT WE HAVE FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST AND NOT TRUST IN THE WORKS OF THE FLESH.
THE ETERNAL REST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN: THIS IS THE FINAL REST AND IS THE PLACE OF OUR ETERNAL REST WHEN WE ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN – OUR INHERITANCE IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

WHAT IS THE CONSEQUENCE OF NOT ATTAINING THE REST IN GOD?

AS DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST WE MUST STRIVE TO ENTER INTO THE PLACE OF REST IN GOD IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

THE THREE DIFFERENT TYPES OF REST WE MUST ENTER AS REVEALED BY GOD:

SABBATH REST IN GOD: THE FIRST REST WE ENTER IS THE SEVENTH DAY SABBATH REST WHICH IS A PHYSICAL REST WITH SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS AS WE COME OUT OF THE SYSTEM OF THE WORLD. THIS REST SEPARATES US FROM THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD AND DEMONSTRATES THAT WE ARE WILLING TO BELONG TO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.
